Women and Equality – Are women truly liberated today?

With our special guest Dr Nasreen Nawaz, we examined the need for women’s rights movements (suffragette etc) and discussed whether feminism has truly liberated women and given them equality in 2016.

We also touched on women’s liberation in the muslim world, our guests discussed what should be the correct solutions and how to view liberation from the Islamic perspective.
